HP architecture was appointed to look at gaining a planning consent for two residential units in Green Belt Land. The principles of design for the proposal have sought to achieve a development with passivhaus principles to achieve zero carbon emissions, with an innovative design which merges with the landscape and topographical features of the site. The buildings are two storey but sunken with an earth bank, sedum roof, timber columns, and full glazing. Planning consent was achieved in March 2015.
